The absolute cutest most heart touchingly beautiful friendship/ Sibling bond/ Flirtatious confusion ever. Even though they weren’t romantically together Shay was Severide’s home. Going home meant going home to or with Shay and after her passing even after he’s moved out and on to other people Severide has never really felt like he’s home. This manly ass bad ass fire fighter needed this god damn gay ass sensitive as hell EMT who loved butting into his business and letting him sleep with her sloppy seconds to make him feel at home And I’m sad about it.
I’ve been so lucky in my life with costars. Taylor and Jesse are still my very close friends, Monica is my best girlfriend, but Tom is the most lovely person. He’s so kind and giving. I love him.
